Garba and Shah Rukh Khan? Weird combination? But it’s true. The actor will be seen playing garba in his upcoming film Raees.
As denizens of Gujarat, its almost natural for men and women to know garba.
However, SRK who plays a Gujarati bootlegger in the film isnt too well-versed with this dance form. A trainer has been flown from Ahmedabad to train him.
Yesterday was the first day of training. The actor, despite a knee-joint pain rehearsed for the act on the sets of the film for a couple hours on Monday evening. “Ok then. Finally called for the shot. Knee paining, so have to go & rehearse my Garba....” he tweeted.
